Emergency Services at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital include a 24/7 Emergency Department as well as Ambulance Service. Our Emergency Department is very proud to be a Level IV Trauma Center.
The lab provides laboratory testing in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation Monitoring, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Transfusion Services, and Serological procedures.
The highlight of the clinical lab is same day test results because practically all tests are conducted in house. These results are sent electronically to the medical provider. The staff takes great pride in providing the community with accurate and same day results.
